Bullying in Granddaddy’s Name?

Bullying in Granddaddy’s Name?

Shame on you, Mandla Mandela!

By David E. Kaplan

Israel is 1/59th the size of our beloved South Africa. Why do we not pick on our own size? South Africa has become a bullying country. Mandela, we miss you madly.”

This quote came from a resident in Johannesburg and appeared earlier this week as a comment to an article on Israel Link about South Africa considering downgrading its Embassy in Tel Aviv.

Although poignant, it was somewhat also ironic in that the bullying was conducted this same week by none other than the grandson of Nelson Mandela, trading on his family’s illustrious surname.

Mandla Mandela

Middle East Mischief-Maker!

Mandla Mandela, visited Israel this week and met with Palestinians in Ramallah where he lied by saying that “Israel is the worst apartheid regime” and called for the continued support of BDS and for South Africa to cut all ties with “apartheid Israel.”

I would not be surprised if his libelous diatribe was probably written and prepared for him by BDS SA as the language is standard BDS boilerplate hate-mongering.

What an insult to his grandfather and all the many millions that really suffered under South Africa’s cruel Apartheid to even suggest what he expressed.

Not bothering to meet Israelis or expose himself to the facts in Israel, Mandla will not tell the people in South Africa that there are fifteen Arab Members of Knesset (Parliament), four from the Druze community, including a government minister, and countless more who came from Africa.

That there is also an Arab Supreme Court Justice, Salim Joubran, who sent a former Israeli prime minister to jail.

Is this Apartheid Mandla?

You know it isn’t, but you do not want the people in South Africa to know the truth.

Those who pedaled falsehoods about the races in Apartheid South Africa were racists. Simple.

Those who pedal in dishonesty about the Jewish state today are anti-Semites. Simple.

Now let’s look at the truth about Mandla, a reputation that stretches from the macabre to the courtroom.

Grave Matters

While Nelson Mandela as a child was a herd boy, his grandson, Mandla turns out to be the family’s “Black Sheep.”

In 2013 Mandla was accused of “illegal grave tampering” leading to a bitter row within the family which grew increasingly acrimonious. According to a family member, “He stole the remains of Madiba’s children from Qunu to Mvezo in 2011 because he knew that he [Nelson Mandela] would want to be buried with [his] children, and that would be his ‘diamond’ field.”

When Mandla was ordered to return the remains, “he stormed out,” the family member said. It was also further learnt that Mandla Mandela was taken to court by a community member the previous year for digging up community graves to build a hotel.

How depraved!

Takes the Law into his own Hands

When the ANC MP was not unlawfully digging up family graves in 2013, Mandla found other reasons to fall foul of the law – namely an assault charge following a road rage incident.

Mandla was convicted in the Mthatha Magistrate’s Court in the Eastern Cape of beating up a teacher, Mlamli Ngudle who had crashed his car into a friend’s vehicle. Not content in exercising his rage verbally, Mandla then ran to his car, fetched his firearm which he then used to pistol-whip the driver – a teacher – who required emergency surgery to have a blood clot removed and suffered impediment to his speech.

At the sentence hearing in 2015, the Magistrate said that:

Mandela acted like a wounded lion, taking the law into his own hands.”

This is the caliber of the man  who is attacking Israel from Ramallah?

The esteemed Mandela surname is no prophylactic for a man who “takes the law into his own hands”; so, when he is now sent by BDS South Africa to Ramallah in early December, one has to question his motives and expose the devious activities of BDS to manipulate the upcoming ANC conference starting on the 16th December, in Gauteng.

The Hitman Cometh

While Israel during 2017 has helped:

– the USA in response to devastating Hurricanes Harvey and Irma by providing emergency relief

-assisted Madagascar by sending relief in response to the “Black Death” plague

– came to the rescue in August in Sierra Leone after a devastating landslide, as well as the outbreak of Ebola by sending medicine, clean water, and blankets to flood-stricken Freetown…

…..South Africa considers downgrading its embassy in Tel Aviv.

South Africa failed to respond to these cries for help from their fellow African countries but when it comes to attacking the tiny small Jewish state of Israel, they send in their “hitman” Mandla Mandela with the sole aim of inviting and then welcoming a strong Palestinian delegation to the ANC’s elective conference this month. The Machiavellian move is designed to create a groundswell of support for the upcoming vote on whether South Africa should downgrade its Embassy in Tel Aviv.

Mandla told PA leader, Mahmoud Abbas he hoped to welcome “a strong Palestinian delegation” to the conference. “We assured Abbas,” said Mandla, “that we will do all in our ability to welcome a strong Palestinian delegation to attend the ANC’s elective conference in December where we will be championing an ANC resolution to cut all diplomatic ties with the state of Israel.”

Mandla Mandela has been criticised by traditional leaders for converting to Islam.

At the Crossroads

While South Africa decides whether to downgrade its embassy in Tel Aviv, it was just announced this week that Israel is to open an embassy in Rwanda?

This will be Israel’s 11th embassy in Africa.

Listen to the words of Israel’s Prime Minister:

We would like to work with you and with every one of your countries to electrify Africa. We believe in Africa. So, for every one of your initiatives, there will be an initiative on our part to seize the future, to make life better and safer for your people. It’s good for you, it’s good for us, it’s good for Africa.”

This is the voice of reason.

Mandla Mandela on the other hand is a liar, a convicted felon, and a bully.

While Nelson Mandela was a man born to LEAD, the grandson, Mandla, has sadly turned out a man destined to “MISLEAD”.

South Africa should follow the values of the grandfather and not slip into the quagmire set by the grandson.
